About the Event
Students participate in a 10-week program where they learn Alabama Blues history, and are exposed to Blues instruments, including guitar, harmonica, percussion, and vocals. We invite the public to a free concert at the culmination of the program to showcase what the kids have learned. This program is funded in part by the Alabama State Council on the Arts.
